This is an ongoing list of what's for sale and or rent in the MacArthur Park Neighborhood. It focuses mainly on the real estate between Orange/ Alamitos and PCH/ Anaheim. The purpose is to encourage more widespread investment in the neighborhood and expose neighborhood rentals to the widest array of applicants. 1235 17th Street. Long Beach 90813: Often has for rent sign up. Building has one and two bedroom apartments. Residents pay all utilities. No pets. Section 8. They don't advertise it but the building does have security cameras. It's around 10 units. Rents range from around $850 - $1200.

1324 Peterson, Long Beach 90813: This is a sixteen unit; two floor building. The recent ones that were up for rent were 1 bedroom/ 1 bath. The building as a sign that a unit is for rent. The building does have gated entry as well. - New Listing

1335 Walnut Ave Long Beach 90813: There is a for rent sign here. These are several units. There are one bedrooms and at least one three bedroom. Prices range from $850 - a little over $1000 depending on what is available.

Unfortunately, there are no pictures on Zillow, I do know there are some good neighbors though about that area of Rose Ave. It is listed as a 3 bedroom one bath, but the room count on Zillow is 7.

Best Deals:

1409 Gaviota, Long Beach 90813: Two levels; five units. Seven bedrooms. Four bathrooms. 6503 square foot lot. 2428 sq feet of living space. Approximately 650K, which is around 124 per unit. The building does look like a good investment from the street. The price was recently cut by about $14,000. No good pics on Zillow. - Income property.

1444 E 16th Street, Long Beach. 90813: Awesome rental units, five(4) individual one bedroom and one bath cottages, One-two bedroom and one bath house and two story two units at the back. Fairly well maintained with newer 25 years roof, copper plumbing, newer stucco, updated kitchen and bathrooms, some have wood laminate floor, fenced and low maintenance investment. Rents are upside, lots of room for increase.

1409 14th Street, Long Beach 90813: 2 units, 1 Building. (2bed/ 2 baths & 1bed /1bath)! Conveniently located near Douglas MacArthur Park. Blocks away from public Library and the Long Beach fire Department Museum. 1515 Anaheim Street, Long Beach 90813: This is a 3 bedroom/ 1 bath house. It is slightly over 1000 square feet on a 4000 square foot lot. Major price drop. The catch is it's on Anaheim.
