A friend of mine, Josephine Bañuelos Villaseñorr has announced she is running for council against Dee Andrews for the Sixth District City Council Seat. Over the last few months I've witnessed Josiephine's commitment to her community through forming the Wrigley Community Neighborhood Group, her involvement in the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Ready Long Beach as she held onto a kindness and respect for all residents, not just those who may vote for her. That's a very incomplete list of everything I respect about Josie's attitude and accomplishments. Since being involved with the community since April and having the privilege of supporting organizations that have brought amazing change to Central Long Beach, the MacArthur Park Neighborhood and Long Beach in general such as CERT, AOC7, WESCA and Litter Free Long Beach I have seen the good that can come out of a positive force, so without hesitation or the slightest reservation, I am endorsing Josephine.
